Little Suzie's Lemonade Stand = Marketing Lesson

When it comes to growing the Cash Flow of your business you might think
the “how To” depends on the sort of small business you have? Or imagine –
what works for one, won’t necessarily work for another.

But nothing could be further from the truth, the solution is unanimous. It’s one
that at the outset seems philosophical, but don’t be fooled, it’s a Marketing
Absolute - written in stone. Here it is:
“You can in no way receive MORE than the VALUE of what you GIVE.”

Yes,..it sounds like something that came out of a fortune cookie, but there’s
an intrinsic value attached to it that literally determines the difference
between MASSIVE CASH FLOW, and NO CASH FLOW.

If little 6-year-old Suzie, with her pigtails, missing front tooth, and Sunday
go-to-meeting clothes,…puts a lemonade stand up on the corner and as you walk
by she smiles and respectfully asks: “Good afternoon Sir/Madame, would you like to
buy a glass of lemonade for $1.00 from me?”

Do you at once glare at her with a questioning eye wondering what her
motive is for asking?
Do you wonder what SHE’S getting out of the deal?
Do you feel like a bicycle waiting to happen?
Do you suspect whether that smile is real or contrived?
Do you feel like a piece of meat with a $$ attached to you?
( I could go on and on, there’s no end to the stereotypical ideas our minds
call up up of the persons trying to sell us something! )

The answer is – of course not! In fact, if you’re a few cents short you’ll
start rummaging through the debris along the side of the road just looking for
a way to accommodate buying from her!

We LOVE to buy from people that we LOVE to buy from!

The key to increasing cash flow is to build up value so people LOVE buying
from you! Translated,…that means LEAD with ANYTHING BUT what you’re selling.
Offer a free course, a free book, a free lesson, free insider information…tips
& strategies, etc.. acquire a spirit of authenticity and sincere interest in
what you have to offer others. DISARM them with all the genuineness of little
Suzie - by being open to serve them.

If the CASH FLOW of your business is stifled, re-evaluate the VALUE of what
you are offering and start focusing on what people get from you long before
you get anything from them!

** Important side-note** - dressing up in pigtails and standing on the corner
selling something has a totally different outcome when you’re an adult! We
